FansBet World Cup Betting Tips – Opening Group Matches

BETTING

By Ryan Pitcher

Last week we announced our brand new partnership with FansBet and so if you’re thinking of having a flutter on the World Cup this summer then why not benefit yourselves and other Villa supporters in the process of doing so. Click here to see how it all works.

Today I bring to the table my first betting tip of the World Cup finals and this covers the opening group matches. A tasty little 6-fold that returns around 17/2*.

Within this bet I’ve chosen four nations to win outright; Russia, France, Brazil & England. With a further two winning with a -1 one goal handicap: Argentina & Belgium.

Without the handicap Argentina are 2/7* to beat Iceland whilst Belgium are just 1/6* to get the win against Panama.

Although I feel Iceland will try and keep it tight against Messi & co, I do believe as soon as one goes in, two or three will follow and 10/11* on a -1 seems like great value.

As for Belgium – this could end up 4 or 5 goals to nil – and I was half-tempted to go with a -2 handicap. But let’s play it safe and bink a cheeky little earner to kick-start the tournament.
