FansBet World Cup Betting Tips – Third Group Matches

I’m just not sure whether to scrap this handicap betting lark you know… that’s what is killing me at this World Cup!

Uruguay at -1 was the second leg of our six-fold for the second round of group matches and when Luis Suarez put the South Americans ahead midway through the first half it was set-up just perfectly. Here’s me thinking logically; surely the Saudi’s have to come out and play and apply some pressure in order to give themselves a chance at remaining in the World Cup, with La Celeste seeking to counter and exploit all that extra space.

How wrong could I be…?

As we all witnessed, it appeared the Saudi’s were happy at saving face after their 5-0 humbling against the tournament hosts on the opening night and not once did they flood forward and throw the kitchen sink at it. The result suited the Uruguayans whom were just as delighted to secure safe passage through to the knockouts.

There’s nothing more frustrating than watching this being played out when you’ve got money on! Had we just put on a straight-up six fold as opposed to seeking that extra ‘value’ then we would have at least binked a small one.

And so for this third round of matches I’m just going to go back to basics. Regardless of form – excluding Morocco – all of the following nations still have something to play for and before a ball was kicked at this World Cup you would’ve had this down as a straight-forward one. Here goes nothing…

SPAIN to beat Morocco (20/59*), Mon 25th June

PORTUGAL to beat Iran (5/7)*, Mon 25th June

FRANCE to beat Denmark (27/20*), Tues 26th June

ARGENTINA to beat Nigeria (10/19*), Tues 26th June

This bet pays around 29/4* with our friends at FansBet; meaning £20 will pay around £165. As a bonus you’ll also receive an extra 5% enhanced odds if you win this combo.
