Hause every weekend!

Kortney Hause has completed a permanent move to Aston Villa for a figure believed to be around £3m.

The former West Ham academy player joins from Midlands rivals Wolves after Villa exercised a right-to-buy option following the players successful stint on loan at the club.

It’s fair to say that Hause’s performances were progressive. His first appearance was off the bench at Wigan in a drab 3-0 away defeat. He struggled on a left-back despite it not being his preferred nor most natural position before going on to forge a partnership with Tyrone Mings in the centre of defence.

The return of Axel Tuanzebe late in the season would put an end to Korts run in the team. He did, however, play a role in the play-off final coming on for the injured Mings late on.

Do I think that Hause will be in our starting XI come the opening day of the Premier League season? No I don’t. But £3m for a player not quite 24 years of age and that has shown his versatility both centrally and on the left-side of defence represents a good bit of business for us.

Up The Villa!
