About Us

Heart of the Holte is a non-profit fans page aiming to enhance the experience of Villa fans across the globe through content, news and interaction.

This website hosts our blog with an array of blog posts from incredibly talented writers who support Villa, just like you and me.

We also have a YouTube channel if you prefer to watch, rather than read your Villa based content; as a part of this we run a weekly podcast during the football season called ‘The Villa Filler’. Find out YouTube here.

We run community based charity projects, our KitAid day is a great example of this. If you want to find out more about our work in the community then press here, or if you want to go a step further and make a difference, then go to our contact us page and fill in the form!

In order to provide the best possible service to fans, we have become affiliated with Fansbet. This is not a classic gambling page, they give 50% of profit back to fans. IF, you wish to gamble, then sign up to Fansbet and select us as your fan partner; we reinvest this 50% from anyone who selects back into the Villa community; where it belongs. We have previously given £350 to Project B6 and also paid for underprivileged Villa fans to visit a game. Read all about that by following this link.

If you do not wish to gamble, then Fansbet still help us to run regular competitions and also a Villa Fan only fantasy football league. This league comes with the extra bonus of fantastic Villa based prizes!

Meet the team!

Callum Richardson – Website designer, Blog editor and writer. Most surprisingly of all, he currently has a B postcode…

Ryan Pitcher – Community work manager, Blog editor and writer. Some say that he single handedly financed Fansbet’s Villa projects with his gambling…

Dan Morgan – YouTube manager, Video creator and podcast host. Known (by himself) as the Heart of the North Stand…

Jack Cudworth – Yorkshire’s finest blogger, can be spotted off his face at most away days.

Daniel Horton – Villa’s greatest singer – the man behind ‘Ain’t nobody like El Ghazi’ and many more hit singles. Also a talented blogger.

Jamie Yapp – Half Dutch, 100% Villa. Doug Ellis season ticket holder for well over a decade and one of our finest bloggers.

Dan Wiseman – The second half of the Dan and Dan Villa filler podcast. As well as being a fantastic writer, Dan is the closest thing we can find to an Olof Melberg lookalike.

Dom Phillips – Our youngest writer at just 17, but a great one nonetheless. Dom has helped out with website design and also writes about Esports.

Dave Jordan – Villa’s very own accountant and an all round fantastic bloke – occasionally features when financial matters need explaining.

Ollie Mason – once a prolific writer, now more of an idea than a contributor. Idolised to this day for buying a ‘Ross McCormack’ Villa shirt immediately after he signed. Oh Ollie…
