We are five games into our first season back in the elite tier of English football and have four points to show for our hard work thus far. As you are more than likely aware by now, during last nights game against West Ham Anwar El Ghazi and Tyrone Mings “clashed heads” in a brief heated exchange during the first half.
It’s been a tough start to life back in the Premier League for Villa so far this season. One win and three losses – although one of these would have been a draw, had we not seen one of the worst refereeing decisions in Premier League history – sees Villa currently sitting in 18th place, just inside the relegation zone.

The season may only be four games old, but it’s already been a mixed bag for Villa so far. There’s been plenty of positives individually and collectively, alongside a fair amount of frustration. Amongst the highs and lows so far, one factor has began to look apparent on occasion, and that is our dedication to Smith’s 4-3-3 formation of choice. We are back! After a break in the betting series as there’s normally little value to be found… we’re now back to domestic action with a full compliment of fixtures to choose from.
